People prefer to be with what they know. It's simpler. Our ability to be content with mediocrity is amazing. Our ability not to want to move out of our zone that we've made is astonishing. Maybe that's why we don't want God. Because he might actually move us out of our warm, comfy excrement.

in my opinion its for that exact same reason why people still put up with shitty journalism morning after morning. thats why nobody wants to order things on the menu they cant pronounce.
